By default an update will launch the updater, close its self then relaunch after (with a new PID, which can cause problems with some hosts panels). Users will only be able to update config files and install mods with no direct control over the server process or updating of the game files.ĪllowARKRemoteSelfUpdate - This setting will disable the user being able to update ARKRemote automatically. ManageServerProcess - This will run ARKRemote along side the ARK process and CAN NOT control it. There are three new options, SettingOverrides, ManageServerProcess and AllowARKRemoteSelfUpdate. These settings are probably only of interest to server hosts so if you are running ARKRemote yourself, you can ignore these. To be sure of this if you are not certain, running as administrator will do the trick. Because of this ARKRemote.exe and ARKRemoteUpdater.exe will require read/write privilidges to its own folder as well as the target installation folder.
